COVID-19: charter of good practices

France FinTech offers entrepreneurs and investors who wish to sign this charter of good practices, to engage together during the brutal crisis caused by COVID-19 and that their interests remain aligned over time. 

| List of investor commitments

For new investments

  • maintain the offers when they have been sent - if there is no structural questioning of the company's activity
  • offer reasonable valuations
  • maintain an investment activity by focusing on the study of business files that have a positive impact for society and the environment

For the existing portfolio

  • support the maximum number of startups in their portfolio through this crisis
  • provide skills and tools for the proper management of the crisis
  • financially support startups in economic difficulty to the maximum of their ability, to preserve talent retention and employment

For new investments
 

  • allocating part of their means in the form of a donation, starting with urgent support for nursing staff and then ultimately by pointing towards a great cause
  • encouraging sustainable business models,
  • prioritizing the positive impact for society and the environment
  • ensuring that the companies in their portfolios receiving public aid do not pay dividends

  • fair use of partial unemployment
  • special attention to the distress of employees
  • increased transparency towards their investors
  • focus the company on its sustainability
  • do not pay dividends
  • reassess the compensation of corporate officers as long as the company has recourse to partial unemployment
  • maintain as much as possible the income of employees, including in the event of partial unemployment
  • when the drop in activity reduces the number of hours worked, offer employees the opportunity to make themselves available for support projects in the fight against Covid-19
