Finscale
# 24 - Pierre Dutaret (Libéo) - They "restore" the customer / supplier relationship
Description of the episode
At the microphone of Finscale this week, I have the chance to interview Pierre Dutaret, one of the founders of Libéo. It is his experience as manager of a group of restaurants that allows Pierre to experience the management of his suppliers. This tedious process of processing invoices is a painful experience which requires different phases: - grouping, - entry, - payment, - posting. In short, it is not an easy task and yet, he and his two co-founders got down to it less than two years ago by creating Libéo. This SaaS-based solution enables fast and efficient cash management: Invoice dematerialization, automated processing, team monitoring, then "one-click, IBAN-free" payment. It is not a simple transposition of the offline flow into an online flow, but rather an innovative way of conceiving the relations between customers and suppliers. A sort of B2B Payment Social Network. Following two fundraisers, Libéo intends to reform and modernize this process to streamline and improve relations between the two parties. We leave with many books to read ... - Well, Ben Horowitz again ... - the books of Jean-Christian Petit-Fils, - the bio of Magellan by Stefan Zweig and the Rome series to watch
