# 40 - Marc Tempelman (Cashbee) - Boosting the return on its liquidity by arbitrating structural inefficiencies, you had to think about it!
Description of the episode
Starting from Investment Banking in 2017, Marc took advantage of this experience to embark on entrepreneurship, develop the idea and launch Cashbee with his co-founders. We take stock with him on savings practices, customs, financial culture and the preferred investment vehicles of the French. Marc describes the solution developed by Cashbee, behind the scenes of this payment institution and in particular the structural arbitrage which allows the startup to generate returns in order to offer investors a remunerated current account. Which in these times of negative interest rates is rather a great opportunity. It is also a question of guaranteeing deposits, partner banks, risks for customers and the changes to be expected from B2B to B2B2C. It's an effective and sparkling episode! We leave with two books to read: The Big Short by Michael Lewis Freakonomics by Steven D. Levitt A blog to follow: that of Cashbee: The interest of Marc Tempelman, in particular, the article to which I refer: Teaching money to children. Good listening to all !
