France FinTech, Le Swave, ACPR and AMF announce the second edition of FRENCH FINTECH WEEK

Building on the success of the first edition of the French FinTech Week, France FinTech, the professional association of the sector, Le Swave, the first French start-up accelerator dedicated to Paris&co's financial services, the ACPR and the AMF announce the organization of the second French FinTech Week, dedicated to players in the innovative financial ecosystem, which will be held from October 14 to 21, 2022.
Like the first edition, the French FinTech Week 2022 (#FFTW22) will offer a large number of events taking place in Paris and in the regions. It will be held in a context of strong growth for FinTech companies, marked by record fundraising, the emergence of many unicorns and European champions. If the Fintechs have shown the solidity of their economic model and their resilience in the face of crises, they will have to prove their ability to be part of the financial landscape in the long term, in a changing environment marked by geopolitical and inflationary tensions. This initiative bringing together stakeholders in the sector helps to strengthen the strengths of the Paris marketplace.
Many topics will be discussed, covering all aspects of innovative and responsible finance, regulations, technological innovations, industrial, social and societal aspects of our sector.
Organized by the association of fintech entrepreneurs, the most important accelerator in the sector, as well as the supervisory authorities, the French FinTech Week will revolve around the reference events of these players;
● From Friday 14 to Sunday 16 October : FINTECH GENERATIONs Hackathon dedicated to students organized jointly by France FinTech and Le Swave – Paris&co
● Tuesday October 18 from 12 p.m. to 00 p.m. : Inauguration of the European Fintech Hub of Swave – Paris&co followed by Swave Invest, the meeting place for start-ups and investors
● Tuesday, October 18 at 19:30 p.m. : Launch party of Fintech R:Evolution the VIP event of France FinTech
● Wednesday, October 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 18 p.m. : ACPR-AMF Fintech Forum, the event devoted to the challenges of financial regulation, organized jointly by the ACPR and the AMF, with the support of the Banque de France
● Thursday October 20 from 8 p.m. to 30 p.m. : Fintech R:Evolution • #FFT22 the most important event in France bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers, decision-makers, regulators, politicians, etc.
The organizers are calling on all players in their ecosystem to contact them by May 14 to join the program for this week of events. The agenda will aim to promote French excellence in innovative finance, as well as its proximity through regional players.

About the ACPR-AMF Fintech Forum:
Established in June 2016, the Fintech Regulation Consultative Forum (ACPR-AMF Fintech Forum) is a monitoring, dialogue and proposal body common to the Prudential Supervisory and Resolution Authority (ACPR) and the Autorité financial markets (AMF). Its objective is to ensure that all stakeholders have a good knowledge of the issues, in particular regulatory and supervisory issues, developments, specificities and risks of fintechs. He leads working groups as well as an annual event, widely open to ecosystem players.
