Insurtech France joins France FinTech

France FinTech (FFT), the association which brings together and represents innovative finance entrepreneurs, announces the integration into its community ofInsurtech France, the association of insurtech players.

Since 2015, France FinTech has focused on promoting all areas of fintech through its numerous activities: studies, publications, events, meetings, regulatory work, representation. 

The association today has:

  • +350 members, divided into 8 categories: Assurtech, Financing, Asset Management, Risk Management, Payments, Regtech, Banking Services and Functional Services,
  • +100 partners (large companies, institutions, associations, academic establishments).

Created in December 2020 and with more than 200 members, Insurtech France brings together, in addition to insurance start-ups, an entire ecosystem including technology companies, investment funds, law and consulting firms, insurers, brokers.
This community is now joining France FinTech to better respond to the challenges of insurtech. 

This rapprochement will allow entrepreneurs to be better represented, facilitate intersectoral cooperation and pool resources and skills.
It comes at a key moment for the insurance sector which is facing multiple challenges: impact of AI and Web3 technologies, rising risks, cyber and climate risks in particular, changes in regulations and pricing and new expectations of policyholders.
Drawing on their agile approach, combining data technologies, their mastery of user journeys as well as their partnership approach, insurtechs are contributing to the transformation of the sector.

The integration of Insurtech France within France FinTech will take place in the form of the creation of the Assurtech College which will bring together all the sectoral skills of the new group.

This will be dedicated to leading think tanks, organizing meetings, and publishing studies and white papers serving this community.

Member entrepreneurs will thus benefit from a wider range of services and their partners, insurers, brokers and investment funds, from offers with high added value. 

The College will have a steering committee made up of members of the Insurtech France office: Joel Bassani, Co-founder and CEO, Care Foormi, Pierre Bonodot, Financial and Technical Director, Intériale Mutuelle, Nelly Brossard, Consultant & Advisor,  Annabelle delestre, Founder and CEO, LIDIX, Inès Picoron, Sales and Operations Director, Dattak and Alexandre Rispal, Consultant & Operating Partner, who will join Eric Mignot, Co-founder and President, +SIMPLE, member of the France FinTech Bureau, and Jean de Castet, Co-founder,, who already guided and led this division within the association.

France FinTech
Created in 2015 on the initiative of entrepreneurs, France FinTech brings together companies using operational, technological or economic, innovative and disruptive models, aimed at addressing existing or emerging issues in the financial services industry and representing the main components of the Faculty.
