Aurélie Jean: “Defending financial and scientific education means defending democracy”

This week we celebrate Financial Literacy Week around the world. The opportunity to recall our delay in France in the teaching of this discipline among young and old, as highlighted by a petition – initiated among others by France Fintech. And yet, financial education, like science education, provides each of us with an indispensable guide to navigating the world while reducing social, economic and cultural inequalities within society. At the risk of surprising you, financial and scientific education are a common good to be defended to guarantee our democratic system.
