# 13 - Olivier Debeugny (Lingua Custodia) - AI and translation: the winning couple in the service of finance
Description of the episode
Having started out on a clear career in Finance, first with JPMorgan and AXA IM, Olivier tells us with a lot of punch and humor the rather “unique” genesis of his company. With entrepreneurship in his blood, Olivier notes the complexity of financial translations and the haste in which they are generally done. This “custodian language” aims to rationalize and systematize the stage of translations of a whole series of documents: macro research, annual company reports, RFPs, prospectuses. Their machine translation engines are specialized in Finance. Taking the lead in prospectus translations is a thing of the past for the company, which relies on the use of AI in the design of its translation engines. Lingua Custodia platforms are trained for a whole series of documents. Present in France, Lingua Custodia has made the strategic choice to internalize commercial development and to base the sales teams in Luxembourg. Refreshing episode, technical but not too much and which will make smile all the listeners who have reworked translations very late at night… We leave with a series to watch on Netflix: - Silicon Valley
