#65 - Benoit Grassin (Pixpay) - Reconciling families while training young people in finance: Pixpay's quest
Description of the episode
When you have children and teenagers, managing pocket money is an endless headache. That's why Benoit and his co-founders created Pixpay. In truth, the mission that this young startup has set itself goes much further than that. It is actually a matter of training and educating teenagers in the management of personal finances. So that money is no longer a taboo and a thorny issue in families, Pixpay has created an App' with an adult section and a child section to allow parents to accompany their children in their first financial experiences: savings, expenses, budget management, fundraising or simply that all work deserves pay. When we know that 4 out of 5 French people do not invest in the equity markets because they do not understand basic financial notions well enough, we say to ourselves that there is essential and exciting educational work to be done. We therefore go through all the features of Pixpay and how this young company will go about advancing knowledge and breaking down cultural barriers. We leave with a book to read: The week when Jérôme Kerviel almost blew up the global financial system by Hugues Le Bret Good listening to all!
