French fintechs facing a slowdown in financing

The figures recorded by the Fintech Observatory (in collaboration with eToro, Mastercard and KPMG) are clear. The sector recorded 136 operations this year, which is equivalent to 1,1 billion euros. An observation which marks a decrease of 57% compared to the year 2022.

For its part, France FinTech reports relatively similar data, recording 114 operations for a total amount of 939 million euros raised. This reduction is not exclusive to France and is perfectly aligned with European and global trends.
