Why are banks turning to Fintech?

FinTech is an abbreviation combining the terms financial and technologies or financial technologies. The field of FinTech in the broad sense brings together all the companies implementing innovative solutions to improve and change the "genetics" of the financial sector. In 2021, fundraising by French FinTechs exploded: 2,273 billion euros... an increase of 174% compared to 2020 according to France FinTech. These start-ups offer technology, but also a new vision of the financial sector.
