The European Commission approved the EU Climate Law Regulation on April 21 and set a legally binding goal to cut GHG emissions by at least 55% by 2030 from the 1990 levels. Subsequently the European Commission adopted an ambitious Sustainable Finance Package. However, the challenge to comply with the new regulations remains due to the lack of robust ESG data. Industry is increasingly concerned about the shortcoming of current ESG data and ratings, particularly, their quality, reliability, and comparability. The key challenges also stem from the lack of standardization and transparency in ESG reporting, data and metrics. This webinar explores the opportunity to improve ESG data and metrics by leveraging AI and Big Data.
